Leadership

Rev. MIchael Fetty, M.Div.

I grew up in Barberton, Ohio. After high school, I attended Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where I received a Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree.  After spending 15 years as a funeral director and embalmer, I went on to Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, Kentucky where I received a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in children and youth ministry. I have served as a youth pastor in London, Kentucky. As a Senior Pastor, I served churches in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Kent, Ohio. I am currently serving as a Bereavement Coordinator with University of Tennessee Hospice.

It was during my time serving churches when I realized something was wrong. Something was missing from how I believed we were supposed to do church.  The Acts 2 church jumped feet first, completely immersing themselves in the gospel.  Most churches have one foot planted in the world and the other only tiptoeing in the gospel. LifeTree Community exist to remove this blurred line. You’re invited to join us as we devote ourselves to this endeavor.

Acts 20:24 - However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
